We are fast approaching the day when the people in flyover country are going to support a wealth tax on the 1%. Buffett, the Hollywood crowd, Soros, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Gates, and other elitists who support open borders, high income taxes, globalization, and liberal social policies will someday feel a backlash in the form of a wealth tax or actual redistribution of wealth if they don’t start focusing on how to make the American dream work again.

Why does it smell like fake news? They didn’t support him in the general election to my recollection. Trump threw one of the brothers off of his golf course. They only supported him until he wanted to fix the trade deficits. In order to get their support, Trump has to keep the trade deficits.

Because as you stated it was pretty well know that Trump was not their favorites and with the elections coming up the MSM will give air time to an high profile Republican who disagrees with Trump especially if it makes the Republican party look like it is in disarray.
