Collapse: One of “Democratic” presidential contender Bernie Sanders’ biggest campaign promises in 2016 was “Medicare for all” — the unofficial name of his universal healthcare plan.

Like all avowed socialists, big ideas are based not on any realistic ability to pay for them, but rather on the notion that in order to get the big ideas passed, you’ve got to bribe voters with other peoples’ money so they’ll support you.

Well, Bernie got jobbed out of the Democratic Party nomination by a corrupt DNC and an equally corrupt rival, Hillary Clinton, and the rest is history.

Too bad the Medicare-for-all scheme isn’t.

I’m on single-payer government healthcare, the US Department of Veterans Affairs aka V.A. Do you really want what I have?

Won’t even take that long with 3,000 “new Americans” crossing the border every day.

at 3 trillion a year with 126 million U.S. households in 2017, that’s a $23,000.00 tax increase per household per year ... not even counting illegal aliens ... of course, 90% of households in the U.S. couldn’t come up with that, so either there’s a $230,000.00 annual tax increase on the 10% or print money ...

Brits will always support the NHS when talking with us poor befuddled Americans.

However I was watching a British comedy show and one comedian's one line joke went something like this:

I always wanted to be a doctor so when I was a young child I begged my parents to give me the game Operation.

I had to wait three years.

The entire audience laughed knowingly.

That spoke more volumes than any claptrap we hear from the Euroweenies that run the UK and the EU.

Something is off there. I don't believe medical insurance, even private medical insurance, costs that much, although it sometimes does, for older families.

There's a lot of money being wasted or diverted to profiteering if this is the case.

Oh, I’m sure it will be quicker than that. No government estimate has ever been right.

Limit Medicare to those who PAID into the fund, and exclude the illegal invaders Hussein 0bama put on Medicare, who never paid a dime into the fund. Make congress return the huge amount paid into medicare over the years and THEY siphoned off to balance the budget. PROBLEM SOLVED.

“Do you really want what I have?”

Anybody that was on regular Medicare with the 20% deductible, no Rx, no dental, and no vision, would love to have what you have.

For comparison, and for a complete picture: what would ten more years of Obamacare cost?

Will not take 10 years. America is, by all standard accounting procedures, bankrupt today.

leftard irrationality = evasion of law of causality

1) causes without effects
2) effects without causes

causes without effects is trying to get away with redistributionism without the consequences of destroying the economy and the character of the recipients

effects without causes is trying to fight poverty by wishing and hoping redistributionism will work somehow by some miracle
