My ex wife got one in IL in less than 2 hours. Took me a month, $5,000, and threat of a prosecution for perjury to get it lifted. Granted that was 15 years ago.

That’s surprising as I was with my sister as she begged for a week and only at the last minute did they grant her one. The ex has slashed tires, made horrible threatening phone calls which were recorded, left items smashed on the driveway. Pri** just died a few months ago after 50 years of drug and alcohol abuse.
Sorry your experience was the opposite and this was also round about 15 years ago!
