You’re right. I was helping out a young guy a couple years ago. He got pulled over for suspicion of DUI (he was a minor) and I was called to come by the scene. On the hood of the cruiser law enforcement had his backpack pulled out as they searched his car. There was also a pellet gun and when I asked “what’s that?” they responded they found it in the car and had they seen it upon pulling him over they would have shot him. If they had simply seen it. It was repulsive the way the officer said it, almost like he knew he had a license to kill.

No it’s not silly. When you call the cops to a shooting incident you need to disarm before they come through the door.

Cops in this country ought to be certified and let loose as cops only after taking 3 years of training. Sick of this bullsh8t.

Whatever you do, do NOT call the police. (Reminds me a Steve Martin line in Roxanne. However, incompetent firefighters won’t shoot and kill you.)

When the perp has been neutralized (zip tie, if necessary), then and only then call police.

They won’t arrive in time to help. When they do arrive, their ignorance of the situation will prove deadly to innocents.
