Modern idolatry takes many forms, Pope Francis said Wednesday, including not having children in order to advance one’s career. “Idols demand a cult and rituals,” the pope said at his weekly General Audience in Saint Peter’s Square. “People bow down before them and sacrifice everything. In antiquity, human sacrifices were made to idols, but even today people sacrifice their children for their career, neglecting them or simply not generating them.”
Children are not the only sacrifice laid on the altar of idols, the pope continued, and one’s career is not the only idol on offer.
“Beauty demands human sacrifices. Fame calls for the immolation of self, one’s innocence and authenticity,” he said.

How about sacrificing our children to the public school system?
Some of us have tried for years but never had any success. It’s actually a lot harder to conceive a child than some might think. The further along you get in years, conception becomes less likely and complications go up.
I think there’s more to the recent glut in childbearing than just career.

He should keep this in mind when evaluating the continued vocations of homosexual priests, bishops, and cardinals.
I used to think that people who put off having children until they could afford to adequately provide for them were simply behaving rationally. But thanks to Pope Francis, I now know that it’s “idolatry” - live and learn!
Yeah. Sure.
But apparently sacrificing the safety of children to homosexual predators and muslim rapists is ok? I never thought I’d see the day when a liberation theology pagan would be sitting in St. Peter’s chair in the Vatican. As much as I admired John Paul II, he failed to purge the Church of these evil doers. I’m sure his failure to act was out of a sense of leniency and forgiveness, but it has proven to be a poison pill for the Catholic Church. The sooner the Vatican crumbles, the sooner the true Church can emerge, absent the heretics and immoral “princes” in their red robes.

It is called endometriosis. It leaves around ten to twenty percent of the female population with conception problems and there is almost nothing they can do or are even inclined to do about it.
Usually you are told the pain is normal and you should just quit whining about it. By the time you realize something is seriously wrong you are generally past the time when they can actually do something about it.
