Call to Action: On Wednesday POTUS Donald Trump did something that seemingly came out of nowhere: He took to Twitter to publicly call for his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, to end the “witch hunt” investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.
In a series of tweets, Trump lambasted his AG — nothing new there — while outlining his ‘case’ for ending the probe.
So why did the president chose today to make these allegations and to publicly call on Jeff Sessions to shut down the Mueller probe — when POTUS himself can do it?

Because Trump isn’t going to act like a dictator. He believes in chain of command.
...or fire Sessions for refusing to do as he was told.
I think POTUS figures that if the Democrats in the House want to push for impeachment, he might as well get it started so the Republicans can benfit from voter resentment. A knock-down battle would be preferable to the state of things at present.
Trump is giving Sleepy Sessions one last chance to DO HIS JOB before he fires his worthless arse. The fact that RosenRat STILL HAS HIS JOB is beyond outrageous.
I’m not saying that the President should fire him, because the President and his other people know what’s going on. I don’t. My comment was only another wild guess as to what could possibly be happening. All that we can really do is to wait and see.
Trump didn’t “call”, or “direct”, he said - in a tweet - that “...Sessions should end...” the investigation.
Big difference between a suggestion, and an order.
Trump is at the top of the chain of command. Sessions works for him. If Trump wants Mueller gone then he should order Sessions to fire him. If Sessions refuses, then fire Sessions and everyone else in the Justice Department chain of command until he finds someone who will.
POTUS calls on useless POS to do his job.
Yup. He wants to crank the Trump Derangement up to 11 so that by the time November rolls around voters will be too terrified to even THINK about pulling the lever for a Dem.
I think scorched earth is actually the best idea. Trump knows the toothless multitudes would support him.

Although expressed as a desire, not a command. Maybe he wants him to resign.
He needs to redirect efforts away from the Obama smokescreen.... and get to the heart of the Stain-esque actions of the tin pot turd world dictator.
Don't hide behind tweets. Get Sessions in your office, tell him to fire Mueller, and if he refuses then fire him and call in Rosenstein. Repeat as many times as necessary.
Because he’s tired of the chicanery diverting him from being able to address his 100% attention to the needs of America, and because he is disgusted at the tremendous cost in taxpayer money for this mega farce. Just remember, voters, your dummocrap heroes have cost you about $30 million for NOTHING!
Yep, the exasperation is heavy. He wants to bring things to a head, that’s obvious!
