Metro Considers Separate Trains for Opposing Groups for D.C. 'Unite the Right' Rally: Metro Board

"We have groups clearly at odds with each other," Chairman Jack Evans said. "We'd like to keep the groups separate. We don't want incidents on Metro."

"Unite the Right" demonstrators plan to use Metro from the Vienna, Virginia, station to Foggy Bottom in D.C. Police and Metro are making plans to avoid a deadly confrontation like the one at the Charlottesville, Virginia, rally last year.

"Maybe put all of one group on a train or a certain car on a train," Evans said. "We're trying to see how can we keep the groups separate so we don't have any incidents but not put in place programs that could be problematic in the future."

According to Metro's largest union, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 689, sources said a group affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan will be provided with three private Metrorail cars. The union said more than 80 percent of its membership is people of color.

Not this crap again. I guess the media will be flying up David Duke and his entourage from whatever retirement home they live in, try to make him seem like a “conservative”.

I’d like to see Mr. Duke’s tax return, I’d like to know how much he gets paid as a contributor for the mainstream networks.

Its money well spent, riots make for compelling TV and high ratings.

More than 50 years ago, Rosa Parks stood against the Segregation of mass transit and there should be no segregation on mass transit today.

Make them all ride on the same trains and in the same train cars.

As a data point, every assassination made on a political representative has been committed by a Liberal.

NO Conservatives dress up as thugs and attack Liberals at their rallies, nor do they bring weapons to confront Lberals. Further, it is Trump rally supporters that are attacked (over 500 instances) since Trump ran for office.

Sooner or later, a CCW conservative will be attacked and an antifa will be killed; which is exactly what the Left wants.

Guiteau was a Republican.

Gonna go see Death of the Nation tomorrow. I read that it will call out a lot of these KKK people as progressive demorats.

Also remember reading eye witness reports of the KKK getting off the same buses as Anti-FA at Charlottesville.

Love to see that money trail.

Four counterdemonstration applications have been filed as well, according to the National Park Service, but no permits have been issued yet.

The article goes on and on about the KKK affiliated group and other white nationalists, but they somehow couldn't provide the name of any of the four counter-demonstration groups. And why would they even consider giving permits for counter-demonstrators for the same time and in close proximity? Make the groups demonstrate at different times and places.

A very rambling and poorly written article.
