LEXINGTON, S.C. Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriffs Department estimate more than 100,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen during gun and knife show this weekend.
We responded to the Jamil Temple parking lot Saturday morning after several thefts were called in, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. Several people had items stolen from their trailers parked overnight Friday. Each victim was part of the event and storing merchandise in the trailers.

Good thing gun control works.
Show promoters too cheap to provide security?
Interesting choice. The $ per lbs of ammo is lower than firearms but ammo is a lot easier to fence
Check with the USPS. Heard they were running low.
Oh shoot!
There was a gun show overnight at a Jamil Temple?
Strange there was no security. Inside job?

And likely will not get the feds after you.
DHS bought 2 billion rounds in 2012 -13!! And 3500 armoires personell carriers. Why are they not using on the border and Chicago. This is nothing!!
This is nothing!! DHS bought 2 billion rounds in 2012 - 13. And 3000 armoured personell carriers.! Why are they not on the Mexican border and Chicago? What happened to that purchase. 100k rounds is a joke.
I have a new Carhartt Briscoe Cargo Vest with fifteen pockets on it but I don’t think it could handle that many rounds.
Seems mighty suspicious, don’t it?
“Inside job” was my first thought. Most of the “guards” are inside the building asleep -—— I kind you not!
Most gun show promoter security ends at 1700 hr on Sunday after that baby you’re on your own.
Parking lot security on Friday and Saturday by the promoter just isn’t there. The promoter depends on local LEO drive thru’s or less.
Recap: “Inside of the building is secure. Parking Lot not so much!”
No kidding, its like so somebody left their truck unlocked in the parking lot.
