I’m watching it again.

Kobach is up 846 votes right now.

Apparently, the other guy is the incumbent governor? Does anyone here know anything about him? I’m just curious as to why Trump wouldn’t back the current governor particularly if he is conservative and a supporter. Perhaps he isn’t and that’s why Kobach ran and Trump supported Kobach. I know Trump likes Kobach, but I would think it would take more than that to endorse against a sitting governor.

Yeah, he had been behind early but it wasn’t by much. I checked again and he had gone up a few. Fingers crossed.

Yeah with about 1,200 precincts to go, K had to average about .54+ for each to catch up.

I was happy to get back on and see him ahead. I’m hoping he stays ahead.

Colyer just recently took over when Brownback left to be part of the Trump administration. So really Colyer hasn’t had much time to prove anything but he is conservative as well. I backed Kobach because I believe he is just the better candidate and has worked with our President Trump.

Kobach is very cultural conservative and understands the perio of open borders and the changing complexion of the nation and what that means

The left hates him

He sounds wonderful to me

Had he been a poster here in 2005 he would have been zotted

Yeah but Kobach had been behind 900-1100.

Then, Kobach was down about 584 when there were almost 1,200 precincts to go.

So there’s been a reversal. Yes, very close.

I know Kobach is a firebrand and ambitious

What was the problem with Colyer?

I’m just ignorant except I know Colyer was the establishment guy however he was good on abortion and other issues

Can you explain please

I know Kansas fairly well just topographically from dozens of trips passing through

Tks

Anyone else feel free to help

Kobach is a rock-star in Pro-Life circles so no surprise the establishment is miffed at Trump’s endorsement of him.

It seems it’s gone back and forth all night, with one candidate or the other leading narrowly. I’m glad to see Kobach taking the lead, but I’ll be more comfortable when 100 percent are in.

I just think we had a pretty good field of conservative candidates to choose from this go round. I personally didn’t have too much of a problem with Colyer,

I just believe Kobach will be the better governor and hopefully has learned well from President Trump. We desperately need taxes lowered here with government cut down to size.

That’s where Brownback succeeded and failed, he got the tax cuts but wasn’t firm about getting government cut down to size. I do believe he did try but then backed off from the pressure by the local medias. This is where I hope Kris Kobach learned well from PDJT and that is how to handle the media pressure and get things done.

Indeed.

I met him and Tom Tancredo at an IQ2 debate in Manhattan several years ago-I wrote about it for my now dormant website.

He's an outstanding individual, and the fact that he's loathed by the ACLU tells you everything you need to know about his values.
