Ana Navarro is about as much a conservative as Barack Obama is a potato.
At the risk of being misunderstood, that’s to say — not.
Yet Navarro happily masquerades as CNN’s token Conservative in the House pundit. As even Meghan McCain — no hard-line conservative herself — said back in January while chatting on “The View” about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, during which Navarro slammed President Donald Trump: “Ana … it’s really difficult for me to understand sometimes why you still consider yourself a Republican,” the Washington Examiner reported.
Ditto.
But here’s why — here’s the answer: Navarro’s fake Republicanism buys her media love.
The mainstream media adores her because she carries the Republican tag while marching to the Democratic drum. It’s a win-win. Navarro gets fame and fortune. The media gets to can act like it’s providing a fair and balanced report, while all the while, furthering its own leftist, progressive, anti-President Donald Trump agenda.

One of the downsides of the decline of the Democrat Party over the last 25 years is that a lot of people with leftist attitudes migrated to the GOP by default. That’s what happens when one party embraces stunted misfits and the other stands for almost anything — or nothing at all.

The author misunderstands Bush League Republicans.
Trump is destroying everything near and dear to them.
THE most important thing to them is the continuation of the transformation of this country to an Hispanic country.
The final amnesty needed to complete the Bush Plan for North Mexico has been tantalizingly just out of their reach.
They had been able to prevent US from electing anyone who would stop the illegal alien inundation.
Trump is threatening to reverse the purposeful flooding of our country with fraudulently documented foreigners.
We are 30 years and 30 million people into a bipartisan plan to literally steal the country from the citizens.
We would not vote for the New World Order so they are importing people who will.
Meghan McCain plays one on TV, too.
Don’t be fooled by her, when she is appointed to Daddy’s Senate seat, she will vote for amnesty just like Daddy.
