The SPLC is also a major player in the Confederate statue removal campaign and definitely used its financial resources to attempt to destroy the Sons of Confederate Veterans by paying certain SCV officers in some North Carolina camps to attempt to start a movement to split the SCV by creating a fake entity called the “Real SCV’ as opposed to the racist SCV. The effort failed but caused a lot of heart burn and lasting bad feelings in the NC SCV department. SPLC is excrement as is its leader.
