Tough way to learn that actions have consequences, but for some people, that is the only way they get the message.

So you were there and saw the whole thing, were you? You know, for a "fact" that the 11 year old wasn't trying to run away, kick or hit the cop, wasn't doing anything at all to deserve/warrant being tasered?
At 11 she is already scum.

Twenty years ago, okay, maybe 30 years ago you wouldn’t have to go to extreme measures to stop a young person this age but everything is on the table now because these kids don’t act like they are much more than a feral wolverine. Some have zero discipline from their parents or anyone else. The best thing that could happen to them is going to juvenile jail for a while to wake them up; if they can be helped at all.
Don’t look at the age; look at the behavior and the safety of the officers on scene. They don’t want to hurt some idiot kid anymore than you do so tazing them is actually quite humane.
Depends on how violent she was being. If she was making herself a threat to herself or others it was probably a good call.

Have not yet read the article but my 1st thought was “There has to be more to the story.” Or was it just like Michael Brown “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.”
I doubt that it was his tween; however, obviously he is all for CRIMINAL kids, who are as against cops, as he is.
If you go to local sources in the community....the cop was at some off-duty job location, which will beg for questions. The grocery (national brand) will probably have to pay off the mother of the kid. And it appears that locals have noted that this kid regularly (routine basis) steals from the grocery.
You can pause for about six years and go back to find this girl, and she’ll be in some jail-like situation.
Yeah, they should of shot her because of her overwhelming physical superiority.
