A border state Republican congressman is introducing a bill that would effectively use foreign funds to help pay for President Trump's planned wall on the Mexican border.

Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona authored House Resolution 6657, which would establish a separate U.S. Treasury account to "hold deposits to be used to secure the southern border of the United States."

Republican Reps. Scott Des Jarlais of Tennessee, Ralph Norman of South Carolina, Matt Gaetz of Florida and Paul Gosar of Arizona have signed on as co-sponsors.

Biggs said in a statement obtained by The Washington Examiner that "even with a Republican-controlled [Congress], we have failed to secure the funds for the border wall. In the meantime, our Border Patrol agents suffer demoralizing losses of resources and personnel."

They need to tax money transfers/remittances to Mexico at 20%.

Money dedicated to wall building.

2K per illegal, but the $ would just come out of the money we give them because we’re nice.

How about their funding would be stopped! if they don’t step up and do something (MeXico? hello? hello?)

~~~~ from the other excellent thread, see above, here’s a great post:
Initiate the tax
Take away Birthright Citizenship
End the refugee program, in its entirety, unless the US is directly responsible for their situation and ONLY after a Safe Place cannot be found/built.
E-Verify w/ stiff penalties for employers.
Identify and locate all those using duplicate SSNs and pay a visit to their worksites/employers.
We won’t need a Border Wall, but it’d still be amazing to have.
even with a Republican-controlled [Congress], we have failed to secure the funds for the border wall.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It’s not just Democrats who don’t want the illegal alien inundation ended.
We are lucky that some of the worst Bush League Republicans are quitting, Ryan, Flake, Hatch, Corker, Gowdy.
Unfortunately, McSallycain will probably replace Flake and Utah Morons will elect Romney.
We better pick up Senate seats elsewhere to offset.

My God tax them any way and any how. For those that don’t know they are behind every blade of grass out here. I’ll be the one speaking English if you need me.

“How will it work? What’s the fine?”

Just tax “remittances!” Unless the sender can show evidence that the US Income Taxes were paid on the money, take 50% of it. If they have proof, take 10% as a fee for being an illegal alien, unless they can produce a valid Green Card. Remittances are Mexico’s #1 source of revenue. The other thing I’d like to see is “effective sanctions” on Mexico until they start policing their side of the border and repatriating non-Mexicans that show up there. We can sanction Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea, what’s wrong with sanctions against Mexico?

“...at a 10% rate...”

I think you left either a 1 or a 0 (or both) out of there.

That $3 billion was just one month, it was something like $26 billion last year.

Simply tossing out every illegal will pay for the wall.

Pretty much, initially. But as the numbers dwindled to zero and the wall gets built, we’d eventually start saving lots of money. Instead of paying these people for life, to breed for generations.

Money sent to Mexico from Mexicans living here is Mexicos largest industry. No reason it shouldn’t be taxed heavily.
