In the afternoon of July 24-25, 2018, a naked white man was making a nuisance of himself at Trailblazer Park in Newton County, Georgia. A father with children at the park, on a church outing, used his legal firearm to detain the man for police.
A Covington, Ga., dad only wanted to take his family on a trip to feed the homeless. Instead, Tae Lovelace says they were harassed by a naked man and he was forced to pull out a handgun in defense.
“Had I not been licensed to carry at that moment who knows what this guy could have done to my family or any of the other families that were here,” Lovelace told WSB.
The police came and pointed their guns at the father, ordering him to put down his gun. The father did so, the naked man ran, but the police arrested him and took him into custody. From wsbtv.com:
That's when he started recording with his phone for officers who arrived within minutes and ordered Lovelace to put down his gun.
“While the cop has his firearm toward me, the guy gets up and runs away again and jumps in the river,” Lovelace said.
The father with the gun was black and the naked man was white. The police did not shoot the black father. They did not shoot anyone.
Those who stoke racial hatred claim no black man dare use a gun for self-defense, because he will be shot by racist police. It did not happen here. It almost never happens. Heather Mac Donald rebutted the claim that police shootings are biased against black people.

The headline makes it sound like the black guy was at fault.
As has been said here on FR many times before, whoever writes these headlines needs to go back to readin & writin school.
Imagine that you were trying to explain this to a Martian. How would you explain the parts about “white” and “black”? Would fill a book.
Humans on Earth are expected to “get it” right away. I didn’t. Can someone explain it to me? Is the “white” evil and racist?
I would rather see smart phone camera footage of Sasquatch discovery, the Lock Ness monster or little green Martians in a cool looking flying saucer, but we only have this.

Just to be fair they should have shot the white guy?
The point is that this is what normally happens.
The media make it sound as if black men are routinely shot for being black, and that a black man with a gun is automatically shot.
This article shows that view is false.
I am glad there was a happy ending, but is that the modern equivalent of taking your kids to the zoo to feed the monkeys?

If the races were reversed, the headline would have read: “Racist Trump Supporter Holds Unarmed Black Man Hostage at Gunpoint, Police Do Nothing.”
