Republicans are running one of the state Legislature's most conservative lawmakers in the scrap to replace the retiring U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen -- a seat Democrats believe they can grab from the GOP in their national effort to ruin President Donald Trump's midterms.
Now Assemblyman Jay Webber's congressional campaign is getting a boost from one of Washington's leading conservative groups.
Heritage Action for America, the political arm of the conservative policy group Heritage Foundation, has named him as one of the 12 House Republican candidates it would work to elect this fall.
Heritage Action said it would spent $2.5 million on behalf of nine incumbents and three challengers, including Webber R-Morris. The group said it has no plans to support any other candidates.

How much are these MAGA PACs, RNC, RNCC (??), etc investing in these races??
The 2018 and 2020 elections will determine the future of the American nation. If the open borders Democrats win, it will be hasten the passing of what was once great. Hopefully decent, patriotic people will come to understand and be motivated at what is at stake in these elections. Somehow we can only hope that committed conservative activists are able to get the message to naïve, decent people to vote correctly.
Menendez is ripe for picking, let’s hope they do a full court press.
[I just moved from New Jersey 2 years ago. It is a wasteland of gun grabbing leftists and high tax pimps as well as a sanctuary for criminals. Maybe the Make America Great Again PACS have made a strategic decision to spend time and money where it would make a difference. ]

There are no “conservatives” in NJ government, and there never will be. Only slightly right of center RINOs who bend over whenever Dems propose any legislation.
My county is VERY Republican, but also VERY anti-Trump.

Lived here all my life. Born and raised in Hudson County. Hudson County invented political corruption. All my time living there I never remember hearing about a Republican. I live in Ocean County now. Slightly less corrupted than Hudson County. You’re right. This state makes DC’s swamp look like a puddle.
