LIBERTY, Mo. – Missouri Republican leaders are condemning the winner of a GOP primary for a northwest Missouri seat, saying they didn't recruit or support the candidate who has said "Hitler was right" and promoted conspiracies about Jewish "cabals" that torture children.
Steve West, who also has a YouTube channel and a website where he has expressed homophobia, Islamophobia and racism, won Tuesday's primary for a Clay County House seat by nearly 25 points over three other candidates, The Kansas City Star reported.
"Looking back in history, unfortunately, Hitler was right about what was taking place in Germany," West said on a show on AM radio station KCXL on Jan. 23, 2017, under the persona Jack Justice.
The Missouri Republican Party on Thursday issued a statement distancing itself from West.

They make it sound like he’s up for a congressional seat, not a statehouse.
I don’t know anything about this guy, but after years of hearing Trump’s words taken out of context and lied about over and over again my first impulse is to not believe any of this.

. At times people will say certain things that seem outrageous to the PC crowd.. If the candidate was a Muslim or a Black Panther nothing would have been said about his comments. Apparently the candidate appeals to many people in his district ..probably even further than that.
It does not sound as if he is approving of Hitler. He merely said that Hitler was right about some things. Anyone who has studied WWII knows Hitler was right about some things. It is politically incorrect to ever admit this.

However, the Democrats will make this guy look like he won the nomination for U.S. Senate.
Pretty sure Steve West is a DEMOCRAT Posing as a Pubbie!
The word ‘unfortunately’ in West’s statement indicates to me the opposite of whatever it is they are claiming him to be. In my mind, he is saying that it was unfortunate that Hitler used the prevailing mindset of the German people to propel himself to prominence. I don’t see any cheering on West’s part.

Hitler was a sick dude about race and his attitude about capitalist society he was, after all, a socialist. He was correct about Stalinist Russia and its funny how now one in the media takes murderous scum like Stalin, and Mao. Listening to them Hitler was the one and only monster of the 20th Century…truth be told both Stalin and Mao each killed more of their own people than the amount Hitler had killed.
That being said, this guy West is a sick dude and should be drummed out of the party.
In the same way that Democrats said Christians shouldn’t vote for them.
