It doesn't matter.
These people have committed crimes against the State.
Congress is not a Grand Jury and it is not a law enforcement body. Anything said in a Congressional hearing is of no value in furthering prosecution, and in fact can form the basis for a "can't get a fair trial" defense if any of these people are ever indicted.
There's no rational argument in favor of "hearings"on this subject.

There are a lot of HOR Republicans whose re-election is in jeopardy. They want to get the Deplorables revved up to vote, without actually accomplishing anything.
President Trump should've put an August 1 deadline on the Mueller investigation. If it's verified that the Steele dossier was paid for as is claimed, it's way past time to drop the "Russia, Russia, Russia" narrative and put the blame where it belongs.....those in England and the US involved in any way with the dossier or with the weak security that allowed the DNC and other computers to be hacked.
I just learned yesterday on Hannity with Judge Janine that Nellie Ohr speaks fluent Russian. Not a coincidence, I am sure.
