President Donald Trump's military parade is estimated to cost $92 million, according to a U.S. defense official with firsthand knowledge of the assessment.
An earlier estimate pegged the cost at $12 million.
The parade will take place in the nation's capital on Nov. 10 and will feature armored vehicles, aircraft flyovers and period uniforms.

On one hand, a debtor nation shouldn’t be spending money on unnecessary things.
But on the other hand, this parade will certainly annoy the liberals.
So I guess I’m neutral here.
But there are costs involved in getting them from their assigned duty station to D.C. and then feeding and housing them for the duration of the set up, the practices, etc. plus the parade. Surprised they didn't think of that to begin with.

I just find it so hilarious how fiscally conservative Dimms and their media lackeys get when a Republican is in the White House. Not a single word from them about how wasteful and financially criminal Obozo was for eight miserable years.
I am against the idea of a military parade.
It will feed the “megalomaniac” theme of the Left towards Trump, and will be convincing to too many in that regard, because other than in celebration of a hard won peace such a parade is out of character with U.S. traditions. To me it is the kind of thing we learned to expect from folks like the Soviets, the Chinese or North Korea, and we always looked and said that was not like us. Trump should not open himself up to that noticeable comparison, for whatever reason he thinks it is a legitimate idea - it isn’t.
I will ask Congress to try to cut the funds for it, or restrict the use of funds from going to it. That is how bad of an idea I think it is.
