James Comey lashed out at President Trump Wednesday evening for revoking John Brennan’s security clearance.
“Once again this president is sending a message that he will punish people who disagree with him and reward those who praise him,” Comey said in a statement he posted to his Twitter account.

Security Clearances are a privilege not a right. Do unauthorized leaks to the press as these so called gentlemen have done and Poof - they’re gone; they should have been dealt with long ago and by the Democrats.
I don’t know why ANYONE who is no longer an employee has a security clearance.
All security clearances should be stopped as soon as the person is out of the position. If the person has a legitimate reason for one, then they should apply for consideration.
If the reason for retaining the clearance is to continue to communicate/assist the new person in the position, then it will be the new administration determining if that is required.
The Trump people wanting input from the Obama cabal is ludicrous.
Anyone fired, should have had their clearance removed immediately.
People from the prior administration should have been reviewed, and if not terminated, at least limited to the scope of what they might be expected to help with.

It has nothing to do with disagreeing with him, Jim, but everything to do with undermining and attempting to bring down our gov't. He won't be the last. All of the cabal you protect will be exposed, whether all will be punished publicly remains to be seen. +++ @realdonaldtrump
It’s actually starting to irritate me. It’s making the deep state look more like the “good ol’ boy/girl club” it already apparently is.
This needs to change. Hopefully that is what Trump is doing.
