Americans need to understand that the shocking refusal by a major political party to accept the results of the last election and the onslaught of verbal, legal, and physical assaults the Democrats have engendered, are not specific to Donald Trump. In other words, it is now clear plans were made by Obama to exploit federal power during his presidency to give the Democrats control of our nation — perpetually. It really didn’t matter if Trump was the GOP nominee or not. In other words, the chaos we are witnessing today would not have been much different had, for example, Ted Cruz won the presidency.
Sure, the issues and the phony narratives would be different but the intensity of the attacks would be the same and the illegal politicizing of Federal agencies would probably still have occurred. There is little doubt the Dems would have created phony narratives customized for whoever the nominee was, similar to how they customized the Russian collusion hoax for Trump. This is what the establishment Republicans and the Never-Trumpers don’t understand. Long before Trump’s candidacy, total war was declared on the GOP when the Obama administration strategically created the conditions to make its progressive revolution a permanent one. Or so they thought.
First, let’s dump the naivety. Obama has been fully in charge of both the pre- and post- election attacks on Trump. He is the leader of the resistance. The idea that his appointees at the FBI, DOJ, IRS, CIA, State Department, etc., would risk committing multiple felonies without direction from him or his henchman is simply not believable as many long-time political leaders and observers have stated.
Obama’s fingerprints can be found everywhere in the widening scandal.

The main threat is in our judicial system, polluted with much activism from the left. Waves of lawsuits and obstructions are coming from those judicial activists. The most important objective is cleaning it up as much as possible, for one, by seeing as many good judges and police agency administrators appointed as possible.
That’s the only way conservative presidents can get much good work done in the near future, and that will take some time and much patience on our part. ...along with at least enough intelligence to support the Trump Administration with its own patient strategies.
And the President can’t do it all by himself. We must elect better members of Congress for him this year.

It’s a best a four year delay.
We need to help him by getting out to vote in the mid terms and when he runs for a second term. It’s up to us to make sure all our friends and relatives get out to vote in November. I hope people understand how important this election is.
Would be hyperbolic to say what is really going on (as described in the article) is an existential threat to the USA and we should begin treating it as such?
America is not and never has been an “Empire”. No one with a brain could believe that, if we wished, we could not have conquered all of North and South America with little effort. We haven’t. We could have taken over large swaths of Europe and the Middle East after WW2. We didn’t; we helped them rebuild. We WOULD DEFINITELY have taken control of Japan. We didn’t.
For marxists, the dialectic demands a struggle between the proletariat and the capitalists. For leftard postmodernists, the oppressed neoproletariat must struggle against the oppressors. This is the future.

I believe that as well. Especially with g will. His work product through the years was largely boilerplate meant as “comfort food” for the middle-to-right. Nothing bold, nothing revolutionary, just reliable pablum.

If DJT did not run for President we would be talking about president Hillary. Knowing what we know now about the level of corruption in our government I think it’s safe to say President Trump saved America period.
