Sorry. He is NOT a natural born citizen which requires TWO citizen parents and born on US soil. That is according to the Constitution and HAS BEEN AFFIRMED by the US Supreme Court. Cruz was a foreign national, Canadian, with dual citizenship until he renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014. He is NOT qualified to be US President.

The Constitution I have read simply says “natural born citizen”, nothing about parentage.

Natural Born Citizen does not mean Naturalized citizen. It means a person who CANNOT BE ANYTHING ELSE but a citizen of the United States. Ted Cruz was also a citizen of Canada. He was NOT a natural born citizen because his parents were NOT BOTH American citizens.
