Shots fired at US embassy in Turkey

Gunshots have been fired at the US embassy in Ankara but caused no casualties, Turkish and American officials said, amid escalating tensions between the two NATO allies.

Six shots were fired at the embassy early on Monday, with three bullets hitting the iron gate and window wall, the Ankara governor’s office said.

They weren’t once called “the infidel Turks” without reason.

“The sick man of Europe” is one of my favorites. Everything West of the Bosphorous should be given back to Greece. Let the Asian side rot. Kick Turkey out of NATO, create a Kurdish state, move Incirlik airbase to Kurdistan. Turks have stabbed us in the back too many times.
