Strange that this misfiled recording of a Vietnamese propaganda broadcast monitored and recorded by the CIA has just surfaced.
McCain got away with Keating 5 and self defined himself as a hero for his Vietnam service saying they never broke him. Of Course he denied he was as some of his fellow POW's called him the "Songbird".

Is this new? I’ve heard this tape before. I specifically recall the part where he had glowing praise for his medical attention.
I feel much the same way, I leave it to his fellow POW’s to judge him on that...they know what he went through and I don’t.
But, like you, I despise him as a politician.

Because I know myself would break under torture, I would never take a mission where capture by the enemy is a likely outcome. Only a person with an iron constitution should take such missions.

Not that easy. It would be one thing if he admitted he broke under pressure and acted accordingly - as in humbly and not like he's owed some kind of accolades ALL THE TIME for simply serving like many others.

I believe even in his book he intimated he did cough up some info under the torture. I can’t judge him on that.
Yeah this is old news. I believe McCain is a Manchurian candidate. But this tape is just BS piled higher and deeper to cut out some of the torture. This is understandable and no one on this side of the ocean takes any of it seriously.
One guy did a tape like this on video while he eye blinked in Morse code that it was all BS.
My problem with him is he hasn’t given up his seat. We I Arizona deserve a working Senator.
