So why, exactly, has Lanny Davis been all over television and radio Wednesday morning — hours after his client, Michael Cohen, accepted a deal to plead guilty on eight counts of various violations?
The answer came into focus a bit on Megyn Kelly Today, as the lawyer made a direct appeal to viewers to give money to Cohen so that he can “continue to tell the truth.”

If Cohen tells the truth I guess all those tweets from last year where he said 100 percent that Trump did NOT know about the payment was also the truth right Lanny

Probably went down something like this:
1. Hillary instructs Lanny to reach out to Cohen and take him on as a client.
2. Hillary instructs Mueller to work with Lanny to get Cohen on their side.
3. Lanny and Mueller identify the key charges they know they can make stick, and a few other salacious items that will dirty-up Trump, since there’s really nothing of substance to get him on.
4. Lanny goes to Cohen and says: “You saw what happened to Gen. Kelly, right? Bankrupt! You see what Mueller has on you with bank fraud and the taxi medallion issue? That’s a long time in jail, and you’ll be broke from the legal fees and restitution. What if I could get you off on the charges, or minimal time served at one of the white-collar, country-club prisons? And, what if I could do that without it costing you a cent for my legal representation?”
5. Cohen: “DONE! What do I need to say?”
Lanny is something that is on the bottom of klinton’s shoe.

The prime lawyer for Clinton Inc. represents Michael Cohen without payment, and negotiates a plea statement that is exactly what the left has been trying to fabricate for more than two years?
Might be time to think about an ethics complaint, representing Cohen without payment to create all the anti-Trump spots that Davis did yesterday and today sure seems to show a conflict of interest (i.e., he has split interests in the representation, to the Clintons, and to Cohen,) yet went forward with the representation. Interesting to see if there was an express waiver of any conflicts.
Slime like Lanny Davis is what gives 99% of lawyers a bad name.
And didn’t she say she was done with politics?
We should set up a gofundme to pay for the wall.
And let’s not forget the raid of his legal office, including taking client records.
