My son was a student at Chapel Hill on a Carolina Scholarship and was stunned at the pervasive liberalism of all professors and university staff. He will never donate a penny to such a liberal institution...ever! Tearing down historical monuments is a total statement of liberal propaganda and ignorance.
Chapel Hill will probably give some lofty awards to all the punks that tore down the monument........

Reminds me of the campaign to get rid of Chief Illiniwek at the University of Illinois. The faculty wanted him banned while the alumni wanted to keep him. Finally the Democrat-controlled legislature decreed that he be banned.
Is the University of North Carolina the same school that had a ten year scam going for their athletes? They had non-existent and no show courses, the athletes were given A’s, and when they graduated they were illiterate.
