A dark day for Trump. The darkest day for the presidency since Watergate.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There hasn't been a darker moment for a president — or for the presidency — since Richard Nixon resigned on the verge of impeachment in 1974.

On Tuesday, Michael Cohen, the president's longtime fixer and former personal lawyer, pleaded guilty to felony crimes that included illegally paying women hush money to help Donald Trump win the presidency in 2016. Most important, he said he did so at Trump's direction.

In other words, Trump cheated to win the White House, according to one of his closest former associates.

Cohen's admissions were so damaging for the president, both legally and politically, that his lawyer Rudy Giuliani could point only to the lack of an indictment directly against Trump as the good news. "There is no allegation of any wrongdoing against the president in the government’s charges against Mr. Cohen," Giuliani said.

Remember, if you take a look at the original court document that concerns Cohen shared here, it is dated in late April and you have to go about halfway through before seeing really anything to do with Trump and the election. Pretty pathetic on NBC’s part.

Unless you count those eight years of the Obama administration.

It was a dark and stormy night.

Really, it was dark and stormy during the day, too.

So the whole day was dark and stormy.

Some might say it was the darkest and stormiest day, ever.

Yeah, maybe it was dark because we quickly found out that Lanny Davis works for a Putin paid Ukrainian.

So I guess Bent Bill’s impeachment was really a shining moment?

A great example of how the main stream news media have become nothing but propaganda organs of the liberal elite.

Real journalists would have dug into the indictment and plea deal and asked why would a lawyer plead guilty to something that isn't even a crime?

Real journalists would want to know what kind of prosecutor would tack on fake charges to an indictment.

Real journalists would want to expose a corrupt prosecution intended for political purposes.

But that's what real journalists do, not propagandists.

Nothing more boring than worn-out hippies droning on about Tricky Dick/Watergate, 45 years later, as if nothing else in the world matters. It’s like their watershed moment, defining a generation of whiners.

Unless you count the day they asked Bubba for “a sample”...to see if it matched the stain on “the blue dress”.

Makes me laugh, what politician doesn’t cheat lie and spin to get elected? DJT does way less than most.

Compared next to Hussein Obama and his plague worn administration I think Trump looks like a Sunday school teacher in comparison. I’ll take President Trump and his track record of winning any day of the week over the moslem Obamas track record of well over 100+ scandals anytime and the breaking of the overwhelming majority of his campaign promises and his adding $10+ trillion dollars to our nations debt.

All this nonsense is designed to do one thing; help the demon’s win the House so they can go about the process of impeaching President Trump on a nothing burger. Nothing will change because he won’t be guilty in the eyes of the law which is what needs to happen in the Senate.

I say let the evil demon’s have their minute of joy (which means nothing) and keep our eye on the prize; keeping the House.

The statists in this country are obsessed with remaining in control of the government. President Trump is a clear and present danger to that.

bullstalin

what did the Clinton crony with a security clearance steal from the national archives and destroy that would’ve implicated Clinton in the 9-11-2001 attack?

Mentioned this yesterday, but probably still worth repeating, that there were plenty of dark days for the Presidency under this man with his many corrupt and brutal actions.
