Washington states top-two primary on August 7, for the 2nd U.S. House district, was so close, that there will be a recount. It will be conducted the week of September 3-7.
Here is a link to the election returns. The obvious first place finisher is incumbent Democrat Rick Larson. The second place finisher after the original count is the Libertarian, Brian Luke, who leads independent Gary Franco by 51 votes.
So, Oregon and Washington may flip out of the DNC's clutches? Fab. Thanks TBP.
Larsen has the seat as long as he is:
b) stays a Dem.
That’s a lot of time between vote and recount. What are the candidates supposed to do, wait until they know if they’re still in the race?
Sure gives the impression of skewing the outcome to favor the incumbent.
Time for more ballot boxes to be found floating in the Sound ...
so the faggots will win again? Am I in trouble, But I’m a comedian.
