Who would trust Graham - he a moron if there is a Senate cabal on anything I imagine they leave him out - he is too stupid to be included and can’t keep his mouth shut. Probably why McCain and he hit it off. McCain is like here is somebody more incompetent than myself.

Yes, I follow him also. Sometimes I agree with him, sometimes not but I always appreciate his perspective.

“How would Graham have any knowledge?”

how about Trump has talked to him and/or Grassely on the phone or at the WH? He’s likely talked to Mitch about it also. Deals have been made.

Trump knows that Graham has never been on his side, and Grassley has his own issues. Sessions DOESNT LEAK. That’s why he seems to do nothing.

Rosenstein shouldn't even be fired. He should simply show up to work one day and find that the office of the Deputy AG doesn't even exist anymore.

It was never established by Congress anyway, so it can be eliminated from existence with the stroke of a pen.

Good info and right on

If the dems manage to steal either house in the midterms, Trump needs to go nuclear with Executive orders.

The dems will fight desperately to nullify Trumps Constitutional Right to use this useful tool.

Just look how Obama used it when the GOP held both houses.

Many executive orders are blatantly unconstitutional. Anything related to executive branch matters that only come under the president's authority because Congress authorized it are a different story.

As a point of fact and law, Congress can override any executive order by passing a law to do so, or by simply passing a spending authorization bill that explicitly doesn't fund whatever the president wanted to do.

I've seen this sort of thing work in the area of trucking regulations. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration imposes Regulation "X" (whatever it may be), and the trucking industry hates it. It's a legitimate regulation because Congress gave the FMCSA the authority to impose regulations on interstate trucking. If the industry is not successful in getting the FMCSA to rescind the rule, they'll pressure Congress to deal with it.

That's why you'll often see lines written into Federal highway bills that say something like: "Regulation X, adopted by the FMCSA on August 24th of 2018, is hereby null and void."

Your friend Brian has got it going on.

A great commentary by him:

For the Real Collusion Story, Look at Hillary Clinton

By Brian Cates
Updated: August 16, 2018

The mainstream media has spent two years relentlessly pushing the narrative that Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with shady Russians to dig up dirt on Hillary Clinton and then cheated with the Russian government to steal the election from her.

That’s not what happened.

What actually happened was that the Clinton campaign paid a political opposition research firm, Fusion GPS, to frame Trump and his campaign by creating fake evidence of Russian collusion. To do this, Fusion GPS hired several people, including former MI6 agent Christopher Steele, to compile a dossier full of questionable second- and third-hand stories told by anonymous Russian sources about Trump and some of his campaign personnel.

Then that fake dossier was laundered to make it look like it came from intelligence agencies, not from political operatives paid by Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC). The dossier was then used by the FBI to obtain a surveillance warrant on the entire Trump campaign team through a minor team member named Carter Page.

To get their FISA warrant on Page, top Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials deliberately misled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) judge by hiding the fact that Steele was paid by the Clinton campaign and DNC.

Payments to Fusion GPS were hidden by passing them through the law firm Perkins Coie. Not only is that an FEC violation, it’s an attempt to get Clinton’s and the DNC’s fingerprints off the dossier.
