I heard this story a few days ago (a huge story here), and was horrified that a man would do that to a child. It was somewhat believable because the west side of Grand Rapids has a bit of a reputation for people that like to toss back on the booze, so I totally believed that some grizzly old dude that had a few too many would do something like this. Later info came out that the man was severely mentally ill too.
As far as the racial angle is concerned, I dont really think people were as fixated on that as they were on that we all just thought the guy was either a drunk or just mentally ill and old.
But this guy was arrested over this, and it was a LIE! That makes me even madder than if it was actually all real!

This is a prime example of Black Privilege, and White Submission. The White is automatically assumed to be guilty.
If the innocent man did not have a verifiable “alibi” he would now be ruined, disgraced, and thrown in jail for the crime of being White.
