Shortly after his brain cancer diagnosis, Senator John McCain hiked through Arizona’s Oak Creek Canyon with his daughter Meghan and two of his closest friends -– Senator Lindsey Graham and former Senator Joe Lieberman.
“The three amigos together again!” McCain tweeted at the time.
One year later, the bipartisan trio known as the “Three Amigos” is now missing its driving force.
McCain, 81, died Saturday evening.

He consistently sided with the left. I am not sure he will be judged favorably for his backstabbing of good. Maybe he had the syndrome of accepting the views of his brutal communist captors. The end result is that he screwed USA freedom. Don’t know if it was Stockholm Syndrome, but he screwed the freedom loving in the USA. I hope God has mercy on his soul.
Oh, I’ll be so glad when this “say something good” stage is over, and the funeral is over, and his seat goes up for re-election, and he finally fades from memory. September, in other words.

Can’t wait for the McCain fetish to be over. All I care about is that we retain a Senate seat way better than the last occupant.
Of those 3, the only one who was good is Joe Lieberman. I voted for him against Lowell P. Wackjob. Joe is still a Liberal, but he was more conservative than Wackjob (who told my class when we went to DC on a class trip that he is so great. L.P. Wackjob was a jerk!)

Curiously, Lindsay Graham has become much better since McCain’s absence from DC. McCain was definitely the engine of that little group.

As Democrats go, Joe Lieberman was probably the least offensive of the bunch. So much so that the Lefties in CT doxed him in a primary. He won his senate seat back anyway.
The sewer known as DU is praising him and being respectful. I didn’t know they could form a coherent sentence without multiple 4 letter words. They’re paying homage to one of their Gods.
Lieberman led the charge to have overseas military votes thrown out during the Florida recount in 2000.
He can drop dead tomorrow for all I care.
When I was growing up in Connecticut, I met Joe when he was in the state legislature in Hartford. He was nice to me and my parents.
