Can Kelli Ward pull off this nail-biter Arizona election?
americanthinker.com ^ | 8/26/18 | Lloyd Marcus

Hello, America. Lloyd Marcus, The Unhyphenated American, here, reporting in from the GOP U.S. Senate primary in Arizona. All month, the Conservative Campaign Committee, my wife Mary, and I have been campaigning all over this beautiful state for great courageous conservative Dr. Kelli Ward.

Dr. Ward launched a bus tour to counter the 5 million dollars spent lying about her and to get out the vote. Our Conservative Campaign Committee attended each rally on her tour.

As an American who happens to be black, it was a pleasant surprise to see that the opening speaker at Dr. Ward's rally in Lake Havasu was a young black man: former Tucson police officer Brandon Tatum. Brandon briefly explained that he was a former Democrat who voted for Obama. Eventually, Brandon noticed the decline of our nation under Obama. Brandon supports Dr. Ward because she supports our police, president Trump, putting America first and Americans being united.

Folks, I am extremely impressed with Dr. Ward. In her speeches, conservatism effortlessly flows from her. It's in her heart. Obviously, Dr. Ward loves her country and is driven to help president Trump implement commonsense solutions to problems. I have not heard any double-talk politician-speech coming from Dr. Ward. She says what she means and means what she says. Dr. Ward boldly proclaims her opposition to amnesty and her desire to build the border wall.

It doesn’t help that Sheriff Joe is diluting the conservative vote.

I am a once and former fan of Sheriff Joe. His selfish vanity erases his public favorability rating, mainly from the only "friends " he haD.

It’s more tongue-in-cheek than serious. :)

Can Kelli Ward pull off this nail-biter Arizona election?

No. It'll be McSally.

The governor should appoint Arpaio now in return for Arpaio dropping out. This way he won’t be pulling votes from Ward.

The primary is on Tuesday. No way they can get Arpaio's name off the ballot.

“The primary is on Tuesday. No way they can get Arpaio’s name off the ballot.”

I’m thinking if he’s already appointed people won’t bother to vote for him, plus he could come out and publicly endorse Ward.

“If she wins, appoint Arpaio to it.”

NO! He’s way, way past his sell by date. We don’t need any more octogenarians in the Senate. But if she looses, we need to keep McSally out of the appointed seat.

A large percentage of Arizonans vote by mail-in ballot and therefore have already voted as ballots have been out since the first of the month.

I have volunteered with Ward. Didn’t get to do a much as I would have liked due to family obligations this year.

The issue is that McSully (last I checked) has SEVEN times the DC establishment PAC money as Ward which translates to more TV etcetera. There are plenty of people that have now clue who the new candidates are in State wide elections and vote based upon whose name they have heard and sound-bites.

Our representatives for the house and Senate are often chosen rather than elected.

I'd say that I probably have a better chance of being appointed to McCain's open seat than Arpiao has.

Kelli Ward is not pro-life.

She said:

“the government has come too much into the doctor-patient relationship in all areas, and abortion is one of those areas”

“My preference would be that a patient and a doctor talk to each other about the risks, the benefits, what is the potential outcome for the mother should she choose to have a procedure like that, instead of having the government trying to make those decisions.”

She would be another Collins.

I know...it is laughable. But one can hold out hope that they ‘evolve’ their position.

Ward just sunk her chances with a remarkably stupid facebook post about the timing of the announcement of McCain going off his cancèr meds.

Even if true, one doesnt go there and many of her supporters will bail.

It’s over.
