I apologize in advance if you’re offended, but there are so many more ordinary Americans, whose names we shall never know, who are so much more deserving of our eternal honor and respect. It really puts me off how these media spectacles and disingenuous political melodramas tend to bestow exaggerated accolades, and deify fallen politicians who simply and voluntarily ran for the privilege of public office. Military hero? Yes. Political demigod? No.
Yet, these same people remain ambivalent, or worse, about the hundreds-of-thousands of young ordinary Americans, who were not military “Blue Bloods” or 81-year-old political “Mavericks,” whose only claim to fame was that they either volunteered or were drafted to sacrifice their lives for America. Their only aspiration was to return home to their loved ones alive. Thankfully, there are no aristocratic hierarchies to be found in our National Cemeteries.

Well put, McCain “shall be known by his friends” - I prefer the ones such as Trump he couldn’t stand. Anyone who thinks there was the slightest room between the Bushes, Clintons, Soros and the other Deep State creeps will only have to look at this funeral and the hoo-hah connected with it. I, like many others, voted for McCain in 2008 solely because Sarah Palin was on the ticket.

Totally agree but the part about his being a military hero is open to dispute. There have been accusations about him and his behavior in the service that are unsettling
