“God I HATE SUV’s. HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Then don't buy one. I have had several and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED them. Freaking LOVED them. So much fun.

As for the accident, would things have been different if the vehicle had been a full sized car, van, truck? Unfortunately bad things happen. Very sad.

Oh yeaaaahhhhh I enjoy trying to AVOID getting SIDE-SWIPED out of my lane while going 75mph on one of the busiest freeways IN THE ENTIRE WORLD with two wobbly SUV's on each side of me..

Even better? You park your sedan carefully in the parking space at the supermarket, then along comes a BIG FAT TOYOTA SEQUOIA. Their doors swing open and DENT your car because their SUV is SO FAT there's not even enough space for them to get out of their vehicle without DENTING your car!!!

SUV's are destructive to other vehicles in parking spaces, let alone they love to FLIP during accidents because their center of gravity is too high.

Most of them get CRAPPY gas mileage and often times are DRIVEN WITH A SINGLE OCCUPANT. WHY HAVE AN SUV FOR THAT???

AND THEY'RE UGLY TO BOOT!!!

I sometimes lament the size of my Suburban. I just wish it were bigger. I loved cars and hated SUVs as well. I lived in CT and there the roads are far too tight, no one uses them for anything big and they just junk them up. Then I got a Yukon. I liked it. It wasn't too big, only slightly larger than a Jeep Cherokee in all dimensions. So I bought it. fell in LOVE. After driving it for awhile and getting to do all the things I could do with it (A survival vehicle for the family, for instance. Strong and easy to repair, reliable as all get-out and commonly seen with over 250,000 miles on them). I sold it and went for the Suburban. Then I saw this guy. This guy walked away from this accident without injury. He actually posts on one of the forums and can confirm everything. He's not in a suburban or tahoe, he's in an extended cab GMT800 truck.
