I do not care for dual citizenship situations. How do we know this guy wasn't involved in the coup attempt? Did his employment as a NASA scientist look suspiciously like US involvement in the coup to the Turkish gov? You can't blame a gov for being suspicious of US intentions with all of the regime change schemes the US has been involved in. And, oh yeah, why the heck is Turkey in NATO? Why are we still in NATO when western Europe is being over-run by Muslims, by choice?

So many questions, so few answers.

Dual citizenship just gets the entire USA sucked into fights that aren’t ours.

It’s NOT just Turkey (which I know dislike, admittedly):

It’s VERY many other countries.

They get their papers, then go back to The Old Country and feel they have leverage carte blanche to start causing problems.
