Trump has brought both the Olympics AND World Cup to America.

Everybody knew North America was getting the next one. We already have the stadiums so we won’t lose money. And it’s shared. Honestly, not that big an accomplishment.
Soccer is a girly man sport compared to American football. :)
Doesn’t matter what he thinks. It was largely expected that one of the big symbols of getting rid of Sepp and his highly corrupt system would be that America got the Cup. Or maybe England. Those were the front runners for a while, and of course it was announced during the last Cup (June). All pretty old news.

Also, no travel ban then (eight years from now) so that qualifying teams aren't excluded.
