At a Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) event in Amarillo this week, he was visited by a protester who is supporting his opponent, Beto O'Rourke. The protester didn't like what Cruz had to say about gun control, so he made a scene. A Cruz supporter spoke up and shouted at him to "come and take it!" As in, come and take their guns. The O'Rourke protester offered a surprisingly honest response.

Then @tedcruz said, That exchange right there is what this whole campaign is about!

"You want an exchange on the entire election on the 2nd Amendment?" Cruz asked.
"Come and take it," a Texas man in the audience yelled, to which the O'Rourke supporter screamed, "Oh we will!"
That, Cruz said, is why he is running to defend his Senate seat. The exchange he had just witnessed at his Amarillo event can sum up the entire election, he explained. Cruz said the protester is a perfect representation of his opponent's Second Amendment stance. O'Rourke, Cruz explained, has tweeted how proud he is to have an 'F' rating from the NRA. Cruz retweeted him, making sure Texans know that the Democrat is "a big Government, gun grabbing liberal."
So, he asked his constituents, "Is Texas going to stand up and defend itself?" That question got a standing ovation.

Cruz has often chided Democrats for pouncing on tragedies for political gain.
“The reaction of Democrats to any tragedy is to try to politicize it,” Cruz said after the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February. "So they immediately start calling that we’ve got to take away the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. That’s not the right answer.”

Uh, if history is a true example, they pretty much CAN rule forever if guns are removed from the hands of people. Flippancy is not good in the overall long haul when it comes to a country’s protection by it’s people from insiders and outsiders who have domination plans. I’m seeing a lot of Beto signs in my area. I believe they are by teachers in my area who are mystified and still angry they lost the last attempt to get more funding for the school district. “For the children,” is finally (please, let’s hope!) beginning to enter its dying phase.

Yep, it’s easy for the gun grabbers to say but quite another thing to do it.
I have watched Beto’s commercial he is running and he says nothing. It’s all him standing there spinning shiny plates in the air, like Obama used to do.
O’Rourke is using the name Beto to imply he’s really Hispanic. Beto is slang for Roberto, which in English translates to Robert. So why is Bobby not admitting he is just Irish decent? Is he ashamed of his heritage or is just like Obama when he change from Barry to Barack

It’s not “just” a question of taking them away.
The question is also “who winds up with them?” Because, someone—whether in tyrannical authority, or merely criminal, will.
Gun-grabbers think that either they will wind up controlling weaponry, or forces allied and controlled by them will.
Of course there are some silly uni-sexers who think that all weapons will evaporate and we’ll all eat vegetables, or in a pinch, synthesized proteins. But they are shock-troop sheep, not the drivers of the anti-gun cabal.
You always have to be aware of the real agenda. They will tell you they don’t want to ban guns, just enact some “common sense legislation”. But whatever gets passed will never be enough. It is just a segue to the next set of demands. The same with the enviros. No global warming legislation would ever be enough. More will always be required, up to and including that thing where 90% of the human population has to go. We have to dig in and resist every step of the way.
I wish I could think that our side will fight back. I hope so. If it ever comes to it, ours will be those “cold, dead fingers” from which they pry our guns. And until that moment, every conservative woman will be scolding, clutching at us, saying, “Be nice!” “You shouldn’t stoop to his level.” “Think of the children.” “You are making me uncomfortable.” “I don’t want to be around you when you are like this.”
You know how when you get in a fist fight how your own friend will grab you from behind and try to pull you off? The best way is to warn him beforehand, warn everyone not to ever do that. But if he does, you must turn on him with a violent ferocity that stops his interference immediately. Otherwise your opponent is free to wail on you.
We can make an honorable peace with honorable enemies, but the traitors to our own side must be shot!

So...Robert O’Rourke became Beto O’Rourke the way Jerry Rivers became Geraldo Rivera and for the same reason.
Craziest midterms ever.
Not just that, but people seem concerned that they’ll be exposed to reprisals if they put up Republican signs.
The Left has finally managed to merge fascism and communism into one big the State over all ideology.
