Houston protesters clash outside Islamic convention (heavily armed Black Panthers show up)

Doc Greene, a local radio talk-show personality, helped organize the protest that drew roughly two dozen members from the Texas Patriot Network and white supremacist groups. “We’re clearly outnumbered,” he said. “But we’re never outpowered.”

Across the police barriers, a group of roughly 80 counterprotesters held signs and chanted phrases, including “Nazis, go home.”

Counterprotesters included members of the Houston Socialist Movement, International Socialist Organization, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Refuse Fascism, Socialist Alternative, Young Communist League, Huey P. Newton Gun Club and New Black Panther Party.

The alt-right fascists are in fact left-wing democrats, in NAZI Germany the Communists fought the fascists for control of the party, the fascists won, but both are left-wing socialists.

Not all normal. I've noticed quite a few young white guys these days are sporting haircuts that are reminiscent of 1930 Germany/Nazis. First noticed it in film and pics of the torch carrying guys in Charlottesville when they walked back in a park and night and gave the nazi salute to a bonfire. Not 100% sure about this one but some of them in Charlottesville were obvious, especially the salute. Wanting to be associated with Hitler's not all that normal

One of these armed protests are going to get ugly sometime. Wouldn’t want to be a cop at one of those protests. Talk about nerve wracking.

My very white teenage grandson has his hair cut tight on the sides, as does his football team mates. It seems to be the style.

So a Marine Corps High and Tight and an AR is now used to ID Nazis and White Supremacist. Long hair may be the thing in the liberal enclaves in the West and Northeast but around where I live, that is pretty much a normal haircut. I wear a buzz cut on my balding head and I carry a .40 on my hip, I must just be a neo-nazis. Stop stereotyping.

I do not in any way object to the haircut - I wore mine like that for many years and still come close to that. I do not object to the rifle - it’s a God-given and constitutionally-protected right. I am more than a bit curious about his tattoos. Depending on their symbolism, I might see them just as low class or as something a whole lot worse.

In the other photos the Proud Boys are wearing the black polo shirt with the yellow piping on the collar and the sleeve.

That's their official uniform but sometimes they wear other items that are yellow/black.

Agreed on the Muslim thing. I lived in Ctrl FL when 9/11 happened and every convenient store is run by Muslims and half the grocery stores too. They could really put a hurting on the area by just not opening the doors someday. Some of them seemed to be people who just wanted to live the good USA life but some just had a permanent scowl on their face and you could see the hatred in their eyes. Very rude too. Always on the phone speaking Arabic to someone. I decided to leave Ctrl FL not too long after 9/11. Got sick of hearing Spanish and Arabic as much as English. Orlando has always been considered a likely target, especially Disney. I live in rural MO now and haven’t heard a foreign language in years. Hell, I haven’t heard a siren in years and the gunshots I hear out here are not aimed at people.

Right now a lot of boys have that haircut. My sons and nephews do. Youngest likes it because it’s easy to take care of through football season.
