Concerned caller
The caller was especially troubled by the perceived breakdown in order during the Kavanaugh hearings and the methods the protesters used.
He signed up and signed up his spouse to take a couple pistol classes. They were on their way to the gun store and asked what I would recommend they purchase.

I agree. While there was a lot or rudeness, I saw nothing in the hearings that would make me rush out and take gun training. Much, much worse has taken place that what was on display yesterday.

I dunno. We are nearing a boiling point. The left is on the march. If they don’t get what they want I am concerned. Conversely if there is a coup takedown of the President by Meuller, I am equally concerned where we are headed.
It's a shame Trump and his minions have framed Mueller as a coup. He may have the ability to make real charges and which may ultimately cause the removal of Trump. Then again, it may be nothing more than a coup. But we've been conditioned to think it's a coup whether it's legitimate or not.

I think it was Shelby Foote who related a quote from the first Civil War of a Confederate being asked by a Union soldier, “Why are you fighting us, Reb?” to which the Reb replied, “Because you’re down here”.
Virtually all of the left’s protests and outbursts are in urban cores. The rural areas are not infested with the disease of in-your-face liberalism. A war won’t happen until there’s a split in the military.
Until then it’s just localized bad behavior broadcast instantly to the Nation and more than half of those don’t even watch it.
That’s a very good point. In the abstract, a special counsel investigation is a legal exercise, as is the impeachment process.
A coup is an extra-legal process, usually a group of opposition politicians operating in concert with the military leadership to physically oust a king or ruler.
To conflate the two intentionally in order to foment reactionary responses is dangerous territory for anyone to be in.

Not a coup in the traditional sense. But if you listen, watch or read many from the right you hear coup meaning the Mueller investigation. For example, Limbaugh has said the Mueller investigation is a silent coup to remove the President.
