My 81-year-old father had just seen a Huffington Post headline — “Take Salena Zito Neither Seriously Nor Literally On Trump Voters” — with a picture of me next to it. The piece accused me of fabricating stories and omitting facts. None of that is true, but that didn’t stop the attack from ricocheting to every corner of political journalism’s Twitter-sphere.

They can’t stand the fact the Salena Zito practices actual journalism. She worked at our local paper for years. Her articles quoted ACTUAL sources, not anonomoyous source.
Saw her somewhere over the weekend, probably C-Span, as part of a panel discussion - made some very interesting points about the voters she’s been talking to - one former Democrat who voted for Trump and told Zito that for years she had voted for ‘rats because they gave such inspiring speeches and promised such great things for the country - but finally caught on that none of what was promised ever came about - now will be voting for Trump because he delivers - if only more ‘rats were that intelligent....
