House lawmakers on Thursday announced a new Waste-Cutters Caucus that will push legislation to cut back on wasteful spending in a bid to reduce the $21.5 trillion national debt.

"The premise behind this caucus is to bring attention and awareness to the fact that we have an uncontrollable national debt, and that we need to act now before it's too late," Norman said in a statement. "We want to use this caucus to highlight government-funded programs that are wasteful and benefit only a select few."

"We want to highlight and offer amendments to end wasteful programs and riders in appropriations bills," he added.

Oh they will “act” before it’s too late. ‘Act’ like they’re going to do something about it.

Talk about low hanging fruit? Why have a committee? Just fire half of DC!

Just a reminder; none of this would be happening without Trump as president.

True.....because he does indeed know how to delegate to get things done, and discern what matters most that can be done.

I appreciate he doesn’t get hung up for long if he can’t get things through....rather he determines to re-visit at another time and moves on to what can be done. That’s what winners do!

Don’t you just love all the trust you’re showing us all? have you forgotten things have changed? This is about legislation not just using a laser pointer.

Come on dfwgator! This is a good thing. It’s not about just ‘pointing’ or Trump wouldn’t be going along. This is about pushing legislation through....He’s a doer and if they’re not producing results he’ll close them down.

PS..Why waste even a breath on that insignificant Op-Ed. It pays to discern what is relevant over that which is to get people riled up. The Op-ed is to “occupy”.....
