Well, at least that one was not big enough to cause a tsunami or any problems on land. Fiji’s had enough lately.
The hospitals here are ok but trauma patients or people with a really serious issue are flown to Nashville or Chattanooga. Sometimes the flight path is over the farm. We always hope the patients make it.
Yes, it apparently didn’t set off a tsunami warning and that’s good.
The plate’s still shifting on that side though. Another aftershock in Japan just over an hour ago. I’m sure those people will be glad when it calms down again.
I’m sure they’re ready to get on with the clean up. How many aftershocks have they had after the initial quake? I haven’t kept up.
I’m sure they’re ready too. There’s a lot to clean up.
There have been 11 quakes, counting the initial one, 2.5 or greater. My poor computer isn’t happy if I try to go “7 days, all magnitudes”. Hit that one by mistake once!
How's everyone doing this morning?
I’ll bet it was gasping for air. LOL!
What I’m missing is the bird nests. I peeked a couple of times at Meenie but I just can’t like her after what she did. I guess she’ll be a successful adult though.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
You and Gizmo get to have a romp at the lake yesterday or did the remnants of Gordon interfere?
It was just a bit shaken up. LOL! Acted a little squirrely for a short time afterwards.
Yeah, this time of year is tough with all our young birds grown up and gone from their nests. Big Pig and Divi show up at their nest after I go to bed so I have to check the forum to see what they were up to while I slept. And since Big Pig killed the mic, there aren’t even the bird sounds to enjoy in the background these days.
I haven’t bothered with the sea eagle cam since Meenie killed Sweetie. Not even for the cool bird sounds. They do have some interesting birds in Australia.
No, we got some lake time in. Had fun out there too. Gizmo sure loves to run. ((LOL))
Amazing that nesting season starts for some of the nests in October. Especially the ones in FL. Then...more baby bobbleheads to watch! WooHoo!
Guess I’d better go. I just looked at the clock. Been watching Jack Ryan. Just finished episode 7. Very good show.
See ya tomorrow night for tunes unless you’re out partying. :)
Good to hear. As much as Gizmo loves to run, being cooped up for a day due to rain would probably make him explode from the pent-up energy. LOL
Yep, they start early in FL getting their nests ready for their new broods. Not much longer now!
My big hope is that Bubo and Ms. Bo go back to their nest this time. If not them, another pair of eagle owls. They’re awfully fun to watch.
Sleep well and have a good day tomorrow. Might see ya tomorrow evening. All depends on if we get the rain they predict or not that would keep us from sitting in the beer garden.
Night owl ((HUGS))
I'll be gone by the time you get here...so...
Have a wonderful FRiday.
Hiya du ((HUGS))
We're ready for fall, over my way as well.
Hope you get to enjoy the cooler weather this weekend.
I did the front, but maybe I should do the back even though I wouldn't be back there. I have a sneaking suspicion that they probably dropped out of the purse while in a restaurant or Mall when we had grandkids. Serves me right for not putting them away when I first got them. They're for a van that our youngest is trying to sell, or at least I am. SIGH
Janey ((HUGS))
Good luck on the training.
Mooch ((HUGS))
LShana Tova happy Rosh Hashana!
Have a wonderful holiday time.
well, WOO HOO #50 I suppose ;)
Can't say I blame you.
