Deep State: In a bombshell revelation, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, R-N.C., told Fox News Laura Ingraham Thursday that the FBI coordinated leaks to the media in order to use them as justification for obtaining FISA court warrants on what appear to be false pretenses.
The FISA warrants, which were used to spy on minor 2016 Trump campaign figure Carter Page in an attempt to link him and Team Trump to a Russian collusion narrative, were subsequently renewed three times after the initial warrant was issued in October 2016 all of the renewals after POTUS Trump won the election.

Mueller would not be investigating if this would have not happened? Something smells rotten about all of this. You would think Jeff Sessions would step in.
It is imperative that Trump clean house at the DOJ and FBI or there will be no end to the partisan corruption in these supposedly “trusted” agencies. And they need to be restructured so that there is more oversight and accountability.
We can never let this abuse of power occur ever again.
Shifting blame onto the media now. Amazing. It’s getting very close now.
Oh my, its a BOMBSHELL!!!!!!!!!!
1. Swamp Draining
2. Concerning what chairman of Freedom Caucus is saying
3. Illegal FISA Warrants
I may be wrong...
Not a “bombshell”. We’ve known about various media contacts for a while. Still crumbs regarding the facts. The alt media like the Federalist has done 100 times better job investigating this than the Congress.
So the FBI leaks these stories to the media and then uses the media stories to justify the FISA warrants. Some people need some serious jail time.
Where’s the pit bull special prosecutor?
Ironically Rod Rosenstein told him the same thing in the letter urging Trump to fire Comey.
If President Trump orders the declassification of any document it gets released unredacted and there's no recourse.
He only did that to position himself for the job so he could manage the cover-up of the intelligence community’s felonious and seditious actions.
Rod Rosenstein could be the “firewall” mentioned by Christopher Steele and probably part of the “insurance policy” discussed by Peter Strzok “in Andy’s office”.

Goodbye, Mr. Rosenstein.
Oh, no. Let Mueller and the Dems continue to stew in their own juices. The grand jury is convening on McCabe. It’s just beginning to get fun. Drain, meet swamp.
I’m fairly certain that RR and Mueller’s #1 priority is exactly as you describe - cover-up, whitewash, sweep under the rug, distract, and I’ll add ‘blackmail/threaten’ POTUS from taking action against the cabal of conspirators. Until Mueller is done they sort of have Trump in check but once Mueller is finished Trump can go full offensive.
But I am not sure RR wanted Comey’s job for himself or would ever expected to be appointed since he was a DOJ hack not specifically an FBI hack. His letter confounds me. Even saying urging Comey’s firing was pretext for an ‘obstruction’ accusation doesn’t make a lot of sense. The only thing that makes sense to me is if RR was trying to make himself look clean. You can see there is no way to contain this. The other side flails around, stalls, points fingers in the other direction etc but day by day the bricks are coming down and it will all be exposed.
