Barack and Michelle Obama are jumping back in the fray to whip up Democrats — with the former president previewing his stump speech Friday at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Obama will roll out his mid-term message when he receives the Institute of Government and Public Affairs Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government at UIUC at 11 a.m.
A point this ethics award makes as Trump’s administration grapples with an avalanche of scandals and Robert Mueller’s Russia probe: Obama’s two terms were relatively scandal free.

What is truly risible is the absurd claim that Obama's Administration was "scandal free."
No mention of Attorney General Eric Holder's "Fast and Furious" gun-running scandal at the US-Mexican border, the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservative groups, the weaponizing of the US Department of Justice and the State Department under Holder, Lynch, Comey and Hillary.
The columnist's conclusions are positively surreal.

Then there is the variant on that magical quality, the “Minus touch”, in which things just seem to turn to - fecal matter.
You used all your political and moral capital getting the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” passed, and have enjoyed the fruits of its popularity since then. The Supreme Court ruling declared the act a “tax”, and therefore Constitutional.
Not since the Dred Scott v. Sandford decision, has a case been argued on such tenuous grounds, and that led to a civil war, the War between the States.
