Why Civility In Politics Won't Be Getting Better

Politicians at Senator McCain’s funeral were bemoaning the loss of civility in politics, and Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing this week for the Supreme Court surely promises to prove that.

There definitely has been a decline in political civility in recent years. Some say it started with Robert Bork’s 1987 Supreme Court confirmation battle.

Those at McCain's funeral publicly "bemoaning" a lack of civility in politics, are the very same ones who later in the day plotted to turn Kavanaugh's Senate hearing into a disruptive antidemocratic leftist circus.

The real fundamental driver of the problem is fatherlessness, but most politicos are too cowardly to say it.

For more than three generations, the NEA, with the support of the leftist in the RAT Party, have been indoctrinating little robots who never grow up and refuse to accept the word “No”.

Civility is dead, until after the “cleansing”.

The problem is bigger than the NEA, etc.

Many children today are NOT taught that there is and will always be, someone in authority over them. It is a parent, a teacher, a coach, a boss, or perhaps it will be the police, a court, a jailer. And ultimately they need to be taught that there is a loving God in authority over them.

Being taught this first in the world, allows them to understand the spiritual concept of a Godly authority.

I think this has come about because society has decided that all authority is inherently oppressive, but in reality acknowledging something greater than ourselves is actually freeing because now their life is no longer “just about me”.

Those who mistakenly think today’s American politics are unussually uncivil, need to read about political discourse back in Jefferson’s day (he was portrayed as Satan), or Lincoln’s, or during the beginning of the “Progressive” era, or other times.

History shows today’s American political temperments are not anomalies. They are only said to be anomaleis by those who have very short-term historical perspectives.

Due to the restoration of common sense and the discrediting of the mainstream media propaganda machine, we are indeed winning. While I'd personally prefer the transition be civil, I have no problem with it so long as it continues.
