If Trump had that much influence over photographers he would have had them make sure every photo of him included the once-obligatory “Obama halo.”
I was there as well and it was packed. I also was at Obama’s, Carter’s and Reagan’s. Many people watched on big and little screens also due to the large crowds.
I was a professional photographer for 15 years.
Cropping is part of the job. You can crop how much you want. You are not supposed to photoshop things in or out, but cropping has always been cool.
Newspapers wouldn’t have any “good” photos without cropping.
Where are the articles on the Sedition Sisters, Hillary and Diane.

I was there as well. One thing folks DON’T KNOW about is that the planning committee did everything they could to MISDIRECT attendees, slow entry lines down to a crawl, pen people up inside of barricade pens for long periods. There were barricades that would force you to walk 5 blocks down, six blocks across, turn, walk blocks back, then five blocks back up JUST TO CROSS one street! Not kidding. My husband has photos of the jumbotron from inside of the Silver Section which show a massive crowd on the screen. I made it to the Trump International - by luck really, but my husband couldn’t find a way to cross one corner due to the barricade mazes that were set up. Schumer is a sinister b*stard!
