Experts speculated before the event that North Korea may choose not to display the country's more advanced weaponry to avoid antagonizing US President Donald Trump.
The celebration saw dozens of military vehicles and goose-stepping soldiers parade past leader Kim Jong Un in the center of the capital, Pyongyang, as cheering crowds watched on.

How much of the stuff in those Soviet style parades is real anyway? Looks like a better target than all the planes lined up at Hickum Field on Dec 7 to me.
It’s a parade. Once it is over, everything goes back into the warehouse till next year.
Well I think the the fact that they are showing deference to Trump/US is a good thing. The cynics just conclude it’s BS but I’ll take it as a positive.
