Thanks for posting.

Texas very well could go the way of California within the next twenty years. Then we’ll be screwed, as your post suggests.

I’ll tell you why.
Beto is on TV all day long. I have yet to see 1 Cruz commercial.
It almost seems like he doesn’t want to win.

Is Cruz the one who started a s**t storm when he disparagingly referred to “New York values” during the 2016 campaign?

I desperately want him to win the TX race, but dissing “dyed hair”, which 75% of the adult population does, probably isn’t smart.

Ted’s always thought he was funny.

He tells the same stories and “punch lines”, over and over. This is some new material!!

He’s too cute by half :-(

You’re right. He needs to keep it straight and just focus on facts that can beat the Socialist.

He’s probably talking about dyed blue but even so, I bet quite a few conservatives have kids with hair dyed blue.

That Texas would elect O’Rourke, tells me you are closer to going Blue than I would have ever thought. Tell us all why this is a possibility when Cruz is about as conservative as you get.

If O'Rourke is elected, it will not necessarily mean that the state has gone blue. Cruz has done much to damage his brand. In the Republican presidential primary in 2016, Cruz carried Texas (I voted for him over Trump). However, by the time of the RNC, Trump was the nominee. For Cruz to stand there and not endorse Trump was incredibly stupid. How does Cruz say "vote your conscience" when the other candidate is Hillary Clinton? It was not only stupid, but shameful considering that Trump and the RNC did not have to allow Cruz to speak. He ends up using his time to not endorse Trump. I swore I would never vote for Cruz again that night.

Fortunately, Cruz came around and later campaigned for Trump. I voted for him in the primary and will in the election. However, there are probably a lot of people who no longer take Cruz seriously. Supposedly, he was miffed at Trump for Trump's "attacks on his wife". I don't remember Trump's "attacks" as being a big deal. I think some Cruz PACs made fun of Melania and posted a cheesecake photo from her modeling days and implied she was a dumb pinup girl. Trump posted a pic of Cruz's wife not looking very attractive, and Cruz apparently never got over that. So Cruz has managed to turn a sure thing into a close race because he put his "feelings" over statesmanship. I hope the Trump rally for Cruz will go a long way in bringing back some of Cruz's voters.

I don’t have a problem with Ted. He is one of the better Senators in the Senate.. The 2016 election is over. Trump won and Ted is supporting him..
