A Dallas police officer who fatally shot her neighbor in his apartment, claiming she mistook the unit for her own, told the authorities that the door was already ajar when she entered and that she shot him after he ignored verbal commands
Yeah, when a police officer enters my home without permission or warrant and issues "verbal commands", there's a problem and it's not with me. This officer's story stinks more every day.

I understand how she could accidentally walk into the wrong apartment thinking she was on her own floor. I DON’T UNDERSTAND how she did not know once she walked in that it was not her apartment, it was not so dark that she couldn’t see him, right?
