I can’t remember what year but it was a night match at Forest Hills, with Ille Nastase and some guy, and the place was close to a riot. Ille was acting up and inciting the crowd against the judges. Nothing new under the sun, the Serena deal seems tame.
I hate to say it, but tennis is such a BORING spectator sport that it takes antics like this to gin up some level of interest.
