Now I see it becoming History.
The feeling of foreboding disaster on 9/11/2001 was similar to what I felt on the day JFK was shot. Both events told me that this was just the beginning of future bad times. Both events remain historical mysteries.
Best President and First Lady EVER!!!!
Notice the difference between 9-11 and Pearl Harbor.
After Pearl Harbor young men lined up to join to fight the Japanese and Axis forces.
After 9-11, young people wept and wailed about “Oh what did WE DO to make them hate us so! Uh-o got to go to my weaving class”
This sure is a far cry from Obamas “we all should learn from this” BS
Funny side note...I remember Rush quoting Peter Jennings saying “Let Us Roll”. Rush said...”let us roll what Peter? A joint? A bail of hay”?! “It’s ‘let’s roll’ you elitist snob”!

Thank you Mr President for your beautiful words today.
What a relief it is to have a President who gives proper respect to the memory of that dreadful day. A day of dread and fear but also a day in which the courage of the American citizen was shown as clearly as an y moment in the history of the Republic.
How good it is to have a President who understands this. Both Bush and Obozzo always looked bored when marking this day, as if it was a chore
I’m waiting for comments from the following experts...Rosie O’Donut (that expert on steel), Michael Moore and David AttentionHogg (who if he was alive would have been at least 1).
Publius, aka Anton, wrote, "2016 is the Flight 93 election: charge the cockpit or you die. You may die anyway. Youor the leader of your partymay make it into the cockpit and not know how to fly or land the plane. There are no guarantees.
"Except one: if you dont try, death is certain. To compound the metaphor: a Hillary Clinton presidency is Russian Roulette with a semi-auto. With Trump, at least you can spin the cylinder and take your chances...."
It is a fabulous piece and everyone should read it.
And since Trump hired Anton I think he must have liked the piece. He also spun the cylinder, by riding down the escalator, and took his chances.
Trump knew better by September 12th.
But still we go on with the charade.
“Trump recognized the nearly 7,000 service members who died since 9/11 facing radical Islamic terrorism and promised he would do everything he could to prevent another attack on American soil.
This field is now a monument to American defiance, he said. This memorial is now a message to the world: America will never, ever submit to tyranny.
Historical perspective. Presidential, too. I like it. The would-be tyrants continue to gnash their teeth.
Presindent Trump's full speech at Shanksville Memorial
...very moving.
No kidding. One of the worst days ever. I had just dropped my son off at kindergarten and was listening to Mike Gallagher when said they’d been told to evacuate the (NYC) building. Got home in time to see the first tower fall. I started to cry and thought, how many people did I just see die?
Later that day I was at the bank and said to the teller, you do realize this means war. She looked at me, shocked. Apparently Americans are supposed to lie down and take it. That will NEVER happen.
Everything else aside, I was living in northern New Jersey at the time. Strange as it may sound, weirdly detached perhaps but I will never forget how incredibly blue the sky was that day. I’d never seen anything like it, before or since. It made it all the more... horribly surreal, the smoke and flames seemed so stark against that blue sky. Prayers for all who were murdered that day.
